Principle
Wabi-sabi — beauty of imperfection
Bringing a century-old timber house in Kuzguncuk back to life with a quiet interior that does not hide its age.
We kept the old beams, the worn floors and the cracks in the lime plaster. Everything new is quiet: linen, handmade ceramics, low furniture.
We added a small stone and moss garden at the back; the shadow of the fig tree is part of it.
